Pushing Hands Competition
In response to the high level of interest shown in pushing hands competition, we have now arranged a seminar on rules, scoring etc so as to start preparing a team for the national championships. Tony Swanson - Chairman of the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts - has arranged to teach the seminar. Tony is a full time professional Tai Chi instructor. His team often take the highest number of medals in British pushing hands competitions and he is in overall charge of kung fu competitions in the UK. The seminar will concentrate on explaining the rules of pushing hands competition, how to score points and tactics and techniques for success. We will follow up the seminar by regular competition training in our Monday night pushing/sticking hands sessions ready to enter a team in the national championships on Sunday September 24 th .
